All summer we've been gathering around tables across New York City. On September 12 at 12pm, Renew Queens is partnering with some local organizations to set the biggest one yet! A free, neighborhood lunch open to all and we’d love to see you there!

We live in a moment of deep disconnection. Neighbors don't know each other's names. Loneliness is at an all-time high. And the things that once brought us together: shared meals and open doors have slowly faded.
The Longest Table began as a response to that. Not with a grand program or a policy agenda, but with a table, some food, and an open invitation.
It started with a simple idea: pull up a chair.
HOW DO I PARTICIPATE?
Spread the word and invite them to The Longest Table.

Show up on September 12 from 12pm-2pm. Solo, with a friend, or bring the whole crew!

Feel free to bring a dish, snack, or side to share. Doesn’t have to be fancy or elaborate.

Sit with someone you don’t know. Get to know others at the table.
